Riverside Cottage in Ballater

Wonderful property and location. Would highly recommend. Positive: The property was refurbished to a very high standard and the location fabulous. Negative: Maybe lesser heavy duvet on king size bed.

Highly recommend and definitely plan to come back. Positive: We loved the property it was very homely tastefully decorated.that was without using the beautiful slabbed area out the back yard with hanging lights . definitely will recommend and would love to come back for longer . walking distance to shops and beautiful deli. Weather disappointing but cosy cottage . Negative: Nothing wished we had longer there .

A Smart account Positive: The cottage is very well equipped with good appliances. Good proportioned rooms and a nice secluded secure outside space. Perfect location for River walks and all the town amenities close to hand. Negative: We struggled to get WiFi but that's probably down to our lack of know-how. Same for tv couldn't get terrestrial again probably us. Neither gave us an issue affecting our stay.

Gorgeous wee cottage in a great location - very peaceful and relaxing! Positive: The location is perfect, just a short walk into the town centre. The cottage and garden are fabulous, finished to a very high standard and we enjoyed sitting in the garden for morning coffee and lunch. The log burner in the living room is a lovely cosy touch and makes for very relaxing evenings by the fire after a day of adventures. The beds were super comfy and the kids enjoyed the bath! Negative: We had to pop out and get some cooking essentials (oil, salt, foil) but that was no issue as the local coop isn't far. Apart from that there was absolutely nothing to moan about - we highly recommend.

Awesome location, fantastic property and super comfortable whole family loved it. Positive: Fantastic location, great base for adventure and loved the vibe. Great coffee machine too. Negative: Maybe could have done with lighter weight duvets but that is nit picking
